My sister, Lison

Hi guys,

I just turned 2

Big change for me, I am a baby NO MORE . Proof is that I am calling whoever is smaller than me a baby. I can run, play ball, speak very quick and nobody understands and I repeat everything. I can catch all the bugs in the garden and play with them. I carry worms over the garden trying to change the course of history and hope to see them back at the same place the day after. But thanks to my dad, I know where to find them hidden under the big stones...
I can also be a French lover and smell all the flowers in the garden and tell everybody it smells good.
I could even tell you more things I am now able to do but this would take too much time and I am learning a lot of things everyday.

So for my birthday, all my close family came over for the big party.
We ate a lot and at the end I got the big chocolate cake my mum baked for me and I was able to blow the candles very easily. I was so quick, we had to do it more than once to have the picture taken.

As you may imagine, I got a lot of gifts from everybody and a big toy box. I was proud to have my two grand-dads building it for me.

At the end I had to check if everything was working fine....

I just turned 2!!
Hey there!

Loulou's back!! Again, I've been overbooked, that's why I write you so late but I have many new adventures to tell you about!
Unlike in NJ, spring was very early this year and I have to say I enjoyed it:
picking up the chocolate eggs hidden by Easter Bells in Grandma and Grandpa's garden...

...Eve-Marie and Clem helped me to find all of them....hmm, you should have tested those surprising kinder eggs, this delicious choco-chiken and this wonderful choco-turtle!!

The weather was so nice, we even had lunch outside...

...and I discovered the joy of gardening...

As you may know or have heard of, Spring is the time for a lot of holidays in France. We enjoyed this time off to go visit my godmother Anne and her family in Brittany (West of France)

I was so glad to meet my friend Zoe again..

We have changed since last summer, haven't we?

As you can see, I still love to hug her!!
She has a little sister now, a baby girl called Daphne, she's soooooooooo cute as you say in NJ!

Zoe was really flustered by my natural charm...When I looked at her, she couldn't resist...

Even if she pretended to be indifferent and hid behind her sunglasses, I was not fooled...

Together, we went to the beach by public transportation (not very comfy...)

That was fun to walk in the wet sand and the sea!

That was also very romantic!
Then we did a quick visit to Odile and Frede (my mum's aunt and uncle) who were spending some vacation not far from there.

Our only big fight with Zoe was when we tried to bake a chocolate cake together...It was hard to share the spoon...and even with a spoon for each of us, we both wanted to blend the dough!
Not less than 3 referees (my parents and her Dad) were there to separate us and prevent the dough from being splashed on the floor...

But no worries, after this fight we made up and we were best friends again!

To be continued...
Next episode : my birthday !!!!!

One nice thing about growing is that you can be a clown and your goal is to find the things that will make your parents laugh.

I discover by trying my mummy’s shoes I couldn’t move without falling, but I surely could make my parents laugh.

This is the beginning of Elouan the clown.

The goal of the article is to present you the first week of my life spent in winter vacation with my parents.

It was a nice sunny day, my parents charged the van with all our winter belongings and we headed straight to Vallouise with our friends, the Leblanc family. The drive was a little bit long due to the facts that some other families took the liberty to hit the road at the same time which concluded to some slow driving and jams….But we made it and here we were standing in front of the big mountains.

We didn’t wait long before we meet the snow and try the sled.

For those who want to know, I wasn’t very into it.  Not a lot of fun. I was posing just for my parents but I wasn’t in the mood. On the other side, my friend Lucas and his dad were enjoying it very much.

It seems you have to be older to enjoy it.

Lucas’s big thing during the vacation was to try ski. My job was to sponsor him and make sure he was always in the mood. Kind of a manager, but a very tiny one.

As a big sportsman, he was sometimes having hard time and disappointment and I was making sure I was always on his side to comfort him.

Lucas was my big brother during this vacation he taught me so many things, it was just a way to thank him for it.

One afternoon, I went to the kindergarten and the parents went skiing / snowboarding, so I spent time with small kids I had never met, and we played outside all afternoon.

One consequence of this outside stay was that my parents learned I was allergic to too much sun or to the sun cream…but the result speaks for itself….I was disfigured.

So we took it easy. The snow was high in altitude so we went walking in the valley and we enjoyed being in the fresh air.

We had some good mountain food during all the week, but the one meal, Lucas and I enjoyed very much, was the French fries with ham.

Every day, after dinner, we had a reading period with one of the parent in order to peace us a little bit before bed.

But no worries, after a big day in the outside, we were completely tired.

This whole week was sunny with blue sky, we spent a lot of time together and it felt good, but one big thing, which was worth the fries, was the Golden Piou-piou given to Lucas as he succeed his very hard ski test.

No comments, he is my hero.

Sorry for the long break on my blog, but I’ve been a little busy and also a little sick.

Don’t worry, nothing serious just the cold you get in the winter. You know, the usual : coughing, nose running. That's why I kept my parents busy going to the doc and I wasn’t in the mood to update my blog but now I’m back on tracks!

Let's start the story where I left you last time:

Back in January, my mum and I took the plane to Southampton (UK).

We flew there to visit my friends: Astrid, Nico and their little baby girl : Jeanne.

Dad stayed home because he had to work. I don't know what "work" means exactly but it seems to take a lot of time!!!

Jeanne is so cute I couldn’t get my eyes off her. I wanted to hug her and kiss her all the time but her mum and mine kept on cooling my enthusiasm, saying that I was gonna hurt the baby.

They don't understand what passion means...

With Jeanne, I learned how to do “baby talk” repeating “A’euh” to her.

she also had a great cushion I wanted to jump on but it was not very, completely, totally allowed…

The only problem is that Jeanne has a very strong Nico-dad, to protect her.

Astrid cooked me great meals, even my favorite : boiled egg. It's so nice to enjoy good food when it's rainy outside!

Anyway, it was nice to be in an English speaking country again.

My mum told me that british people have red boxes where they put phones. Really, I prefer the cell phone, much more practical...'ils sont fous ces anglais!'

I also met other friends: “Papouze” and his nice parents. Together we learned a great choreography of the dog and the hippo singing “The lion sleeps tonight”.

I recommand it. That's a "must see", "2 thumbs up" like they say in Broadway!

Try it:

Hi guys,

2007 is on its way and I am going into this New Year the head first enjoying everything around me and being sure some friends from US will come over and visits us.

For me, New Year Eve was pretty quiet, we partied with Sylvie and I was able to go in bed around 9pm, a big thing for me.

Last minutes for me in 2006, This was it

And first thing in the morning on the 1st, I was the only one being able to look straight.

No change at all,  I am still the only one awake in this familly

After a lot of request, I give you some of my pictures, but first let me present you Elouan in January 2006.

And now , big change, I am a girl catcher….(still, it does work better on grandmas than child my age, but I am sure this will work better soon.) This is also in case some of you meet me in the street, you'll be able to recognize me.

This year will be for me a big learning year and my dad didn’t wait to teach me guys things…My grand Parents offered me Ikea chairs for Christmas and the big challenge was for me to  build them up by myself, took me a while but I finally succeed.

Results were as expected and I was able to enjoy some relaxing time in the living room as I gave all I had into this.

GUYS, HAPPY NEW YEAR 2007!
