My sister, Lison

Hi guys,

I hope you all had a nice and pleasant thanksgiving day.
My parents got over a lot of friends to show them what thanksgiving is in US.
So I'll try to finish the past and let you discover in pictures how fun it was in Dolomieu and waht for a turkey we had.

Elouan

Hi guys,

It was planned since we talked to my godmother at the wedding in Paris we would come and visit her in Langan, Brittany in order to spend some time with all the family and also catch up with the past year and all the things that happened to us.

We arrived by plane, my dad and I as mummy was working, she would follow us at the end of the week and enjoy the big and long week-end of August 15th with us all.

One thing I didn’t really catch was that, yes I would spent time with Anne and Vince, but I would also share a full day with Zoé and not just one day, but all the days until we leave. This was something I didn’t really get.

I was like gipsy since we came back from US, but everywhere I went, I was the little bundle of joy for everybody, here I was thinking I would have to prove a lot and share a lot ( as all the toys were not mine).

Zoé, taller than me, three months less and not still able to walk by herself. But she was very quick crawling and willing to take all the thing I had in my hands. I was a little bit in advance but even if sometimes I was quicker on things, she was learning fast to beat me…

First day we we were outside and we were trying to sit on the same stool, I got the chair, but she was trying to bother me a little and I think she got me at the end.

She was stronger than I was, I had to be careful

I call this phase the learning curve or how to start living with another baby having the same need as I had.

I don’t know what happen after the first day, but next thing I know when I woke up the next morning was to call her, DADADADA? And guess what she was up the same way, DADADA.  We were starting to get along very well.

And then it started like that, life was starting to be so easy, we were having bath together

, trying to escape together,

having our little privacy moment together,

sleeping together,

enjoying life …. It was so cool.

I had to deal with her dad calling me right after I woke up; trying to explain him we were doing nothing but learning how to walk without any help…..

My mum arrived on Friday

and we went out visiting the country. As I was watched, we couldn’t express ourselves as we did before but this was fun, we went to the beach

We had some little party as Zoé was having her first birthday.

And the weekend passed quickly, we took a plane back to Lyon with a lot of good memory and a promise to Zoë we will see us soon again, I will work on this very hard on my parents…..

ZOE, I WILL REMEMBER YOU

It was the end of July, a month to rest and prepare myself psychologically to stay with my dad for five weeks. My mum was then traveling every week to Mulhouse to look at her dam building up.
It all started with my grand parents leaving for 4 weeks on a road trip in a RV. They were bringing my aunt to her summer camp and then living everybody like 2 young honeymooners.....Before leaving, my grand dad couldn't find where the horn was, I took few minutes to teach him few basics. They also had some trouble with the fridge but this time I couldn't fix it....

Everybody was gone. Me and my dad, we both jumped in the car and drove (not fast, just like the speed limit authorized us) and we arrived to our first stop, visiting great grand Ma Jeannette. It was very easy, as soon as I saw her, I knew she was under my charm. She let me stay on her knee for lunch, let me jump and catch few things in her garden, let me water the rocks and also let me destroy her pile of paper ....She will remember it.

Next stop was by my grand aunt where we went to pick up my other great grand Ma Ginette from her nursing home. Both under my charm and as you may see on their knee to get some good stuff.

I also clean up everything my grand uncle let at my level in his house; it was very easy, so much stuff.

On our way back, we stopped for Isaline third birthday. Was fun and I meet her sister, Celia.

This time it wasn't like a win situation when they saw me, I had to do some charm which brought me to emd u[ in their bath at the end of the day... But I see you coming, no pictures, they were all private.

Ah yes, I give my mum a jumping lesson during this great party.

We also went visiting some of my mother very good friend one night and I meet Charlotte. She was once again under my charm. Amazed I could walk without any help and grab a lot of things in a short time.

She couldn't stop looking at me or following me.

You may have understand that this first week of August was about girls and food, it was for me some kind of preparation for what's coming next, my first summer French way of life.....

Here we are on June23rd, in France. Weather looks pretty nice and my grandparents were happy to see me. I 've spent two entire months in their house until we got our new home.
During this month, I enjoyed going out and have some picnic with all my familly.

we  went to a wedding near Paris
The groom and the bride were so nice!!!

where I also meet my godmother ... She came with my good friend Zoe.

I also met  Juliette, Antoine and Lezia

It was just fun to see all those kids, I saw some potential for future playdates...

After that, my dad being sad, he went back to US to clean some unfinished business.
During that time, I went with my Mum and my grand parents in the familly little chalet to breathe some fresh air and enjoy the sightseeing.

But one of the best thing that happened to me during that month was surely the sand playground, where older kids and friends would show me all the possibilities we could do

and I also discovered the joy of being in the swimming pool every  afternoon, it was so warm outside, we were just waiting for the right time and plouf....(I was briefly thinking about my mom and dad being at work at that time)
And can you believe it, the month was already over....

It was one of those days where Jose, Greg and their band were playing outside for our departure party.
One of those days I had to say goodbye to all my friends.

And I can tell you, this wasn't easy at all....cry...I had to hug and kiss all the girls. we all went through, and we brought in our luggage a somptuous and unforgettable gift. We were all set.

That's pretty much were everything started. Everybody said they will come and visit us and we said we were waiting for them to let us know when.

On June 22nd, Mumy, Dady, Babouche and myself took the plane right to Geneva.

On June 23rd, after few problem to get Babouche back from the custom, we were in France, I had to start speaking the language if I wanted to survive.
